In addition to our day tours from March to October, we also offer private overnight guided wildflower and rainforest tours where we can view a diversity of wildflowers at Hurricane Ridge and enjoy a green mossy Hoh Rainforest.

Hiring a plant ecologist for two days might be perfect for a couple, family with nature-loving young adults, or a group of travel companions.

Please contact us with two days from June to mid July. Peak wildflowers at Hurricane Ridge are usually around the end of June but the timing varies based on the weather (especially the rate of snowmelt). Email us today at tours@experienceolympic.com.

A two-day guided wildflower and rainforest tour allows you extended time with your plant ecology guide to experience lush green plants at variable elevations in Olympic National Park.

Almost all our lowland wildflowers will be blooming in May and as the snow melts in higher elevations, spring takes hold at all elevations. We offer day tours from March to October but starting in June, wildflowers start blooming in the Olympic Mountains. Early spring flowers that are finished blooming in the lowlands will have just started blooming in the middle-elevation Pacific Silver Fir forests. The higher-elevation Subalpine Fir woodlands and subalpine meadows typically encompass an entirely different diversity of plants. Our Guided Wildflower and Rainforest Tours are timed to catch wildflowers blooming at Hurricane Ridge.
